I’m not sure if this question belongs on this board or an excel board, but
hopefully you’ll be able to help. I have an access query set up that I use to
build an excel pivot table. The access database is being used to track the
time reporting of all our internal resources, by month, along with several
other variables. In one of the fields, called “hourtypeâ€, there’s three
different possibilities… Project OT, Admin OT, Admin Regular and this
replicates for each month. So it looks similar to the following.
Jan Feb
Project OT Admin OT Admin Reg Project OT Admin OT Admin
Reg
ResName
Is there a way to add a YTD field/column, that breaks out the “hourtypeâ€, to
the end of the query/pivot? If I add subtotal in the pivot it simply adds up
all the parts into a single column and I need it broken out by the "hourtype".
