Zeroes being dropped in text box

I tried this myself and had no problem with it. Check to
make sure that any formats, or imput masks you may have
set on either for form or the table or correct, or remove
any if you did not set them.

On the control, try setting the Allow Autocorrect property to NO. The property
is on the "Other" tab of the Properties sheet.

That particular property is a pain in the neck in a database and in my opinion
should default to NO not YES. I had a combobox once where I failed to turn it
off and I continuously got an error message as it corrected the user selection
from the combobox and then told the user that the value they had just selected
was not an available choice. That one took me a bit of time to track down.
Especially since it was changing Other plus 3 periods to Other plus an elipsis character.
