Version: Microsoft Project 2007 Professional
I have a task where I need to keep the resource on the task but need
to zero out the hours for the time-being. When doing this, the task's
start date moves from 8am of the current day to 5pm of the previous
day. This is the end date and end time of the predecessor task.
Removing the resource from the task is not an option because of some
internal processes.
1) Is this how previous versions of Project worked?
2) I understand why it does it. Zero hours could be indicative of a
milestone; however, this seems more like an error to me. The resources
should not override the task logic. Can anyone explain why Project is
correct in doing this?
Thank you!
