Zip file

I'm new to this and have a subweb that is password protected. Need to put a zip file on the subweb to be downloaded, but I'm not able to download it after I get to the subweb. I tried changing permissions from view only, still won't work. Can you help? Thanks Tom

Just make sure the zip is "inside" of
the protected subweb, and put a link to
it on the page that opens after the password is entered.

I put a link to the zip in the subweb, the zip file is in the subweb and tried to download the zip. when it asks for a password and username, shows that it is on main website not the subweb not sure why. I'm using 2003 server and have server extensions installed.

1. Is the page that contains the link,
also in the subweb?
It sounds as if you're trying to download
the file from a link on a page that is
outside of the protected area.

Steve I went back and tried it again, had no problem after I disabled dap. Thank you for your help, it was very helpfull.
