Zoom tool in Powerpoint 2003

Hi,

Does anyone know the difference between the fit option and the 100%
option in ppt 2003. it seems to me that they do the same thing??

Eh? Are you talking about the zoom box on the toolbar?

Nope, they are not the same. Fit will fit the slide as large as possible
with no scrolling necessary on the current screen. 100% will be the
actual size the slide will be in slide show view, so in Normal/Edit view
(with toolbars and taskpanes showing), you will have to scroll to see the
whole thing.

Aha! Thank you. I was wondering "100% of *what*?"

I sounded really authoritative when I said that, but I just tried it out
to see what I got, and what I got was a zoomed into the size of slide
show view. Maybe I should have looked it up in Kathy's book to see if I
was right:)
