Zoom when entering text

Below a certain text size it appears that Visio always zooms in on the
shape when you enter text into the shape. I'm trying to create a
tutorial and I need to disable this zoom feature.
Does anyone know how to do this?

Hi Rick,

This feature seems to have disappeared from the View > Zoom > Zoom...
sub-menu.

That said, you might try horsing with the registry settings.

First, you need to get Visio to put all of its settings in the registry.
You do this via:

Tools > Options > Advanced. There's a checkbox there: "Put all settings
in Windows registry"

Then, have a look at this article on Visio's settings:

Look for "TextAutoZoomFontSize"

I don't think this will help. The feature seems to have changed from
olderversions, where text edit would zoom all the time, unless you
unchecked it.

Frustrating!!!

Have you tried setting the option "Automatically zoom text when
editing under: " to 0, in the options under the general tab.
