Zoom

I am having a problem with the zoom function in Excel.

When I enter a series of numbers in a column using Arial
10, the numbers line up properly. When I reduce the zoom
to 75%, the propotional spacing appears to run amuck so
that the columns of numbers no longer line up properly.

I am using a Dell 2350 with windows 2000 sp4, Excel 2002
sp2 with the Intel Video Adapter and the ep151fp monitor.

There's a registry tweak that allows you to stop font substitution when the zoom
factor gets under 60% (at least that's what the knowledge base article says).

You may want to try it.

You may want to back up the registry before you make changes (and adjust the
version number in the key to match the version of excel you're using).
