Cannot see the Tasks, Resources, Track and Report buttons

In Project Standard 2007, I have "Display Project Guide" clicked in the
Interface tab in options, yet I do not see the Tasks, Resources, Track and
Report buttons that are suppose to appear in the tool bar. Therefore I can't
access the commands related to each topic. This is a new copy (not trial)
installed on a 64bit Vista laptop.

Hello Pierre,

Have you turned off the Project Guide toolbar? Choose View >
Toolbars, and select "Project Guide" from the list of toolbars.

Thanks for replying Julie, The Project Guide Tool Bar is turned on. That's
part of what puzzles me.

this. I am totally puzzled.

Hi Pierre,

I'm baffled as well. I don't run Vista -- so I don't know if that
is playing into the mix. I assume you've installed with
administrative permissions. Do you use your computer with
administrator permission? If you don't and someone logs in with
admin privileges, does the Tool bar appear then?

Have you tried Tools/Options.../Interface tab "Display Project Guide"?
