Enterprise custom field at prjt level -doesnt show up on PWA

An enterprise custom field was created and projects were saved with one of
the value. Later we needed to update the custom field and add in few more
custom values. When we change the values of already saved projects with this
new custom values, it doesnt show/update on the project web access.

We are using Project server 2007 & enterprise Project professional 2007 SP1.
I even tried to clear the cache, but it still shows the old value on the PWA,
even though when I physically open the project it has new value in its custom
field.
Can anyone help resoulve this?

Are you publishing the projects after making the change? In general,
for any changes to appear in PWA, the project needs to republished.

I sometimes like to edit properties and publish from PWA instead of editing
and publishing from Project. however, when doing this from Project, the
graphical indicators for custom field formulas do not display in PWA.

anyone else have this problem?
