Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: Exchange Every time I open Entourage I get the following message:

"Entourage cannot access your data. To attempt to fix the problem, rebuild your database"

This happened after I restarted my computer this morning.

I have repaired, verified, compressed, etc countless times. It still has this error. I have also restored older versions of the database from Time machine. It STILL happens. I have moved the database and it creates a new database ok but this doesn't help of course because my data isn't there. Unfortunately during one of these events, it re-sync'd itself to Exchange which resulted in the deletion of all my contacts from the server. God damn! Can someone please HELP URGENTLY

I could remove and reinstall MS-Office 2008 however I have an original corporate version which requires every one of the patches to be added in sequence due to some other bug so I would rather avoid that.

Microsoft, why do you make us suffer like this???

HELP!!

I have now restored several older versions of the database, still the same error. I have removed and reinstalled MS-Office 2008 ... still same issue. This is completely intolerable. Hours have been wasted on this issue. HELP!!!!

Do you have a database that will open? If yes, open and put it in Work
Offline. You¹ll need to get all the data out that is not on the server. If
it¹s only Exchange then create a new Identity and let Entourage sync back to
the server.

How to manually move your data. (when import fails and/or you need to move
to a new Identity same version or revert to an older version)
