How do I create a new container?

If I'm typing a note in a note container, is there any way to get out of that
container and create a new container, so I can continue typing in the new
container, without using the mouse?

It's very frustrating using the mouse. When I click in the space below the
container I'm in, it always skips too many lines below the existing
container. If I click higher up, it thinks I want to continue in the
existing container and won't create a new one. It usually takes about 4-5
mouse clicks and hitting the backspace key to get the new container to appear
right below the existing one. There must be a better way.

Ctrl+End gets you to the end of the current container.
Press the down arrow twice and you are in a new container. You may need to
press the Home key to return to the left margin.

Well, that works, except the new container is down 3 lines from the first
one. Then I have to use the mouse to position the cursor only one line below
the previous note. If I try to use the up arrow, it goes back up into the
previous container. I wonder if any of the developers actually use the
program.

Would you explain a bit more as to why multiple containers are part of your
formatting and why a simple carriage return or two does not suffice?

FWIW:
IMHO that's juts a normal way of working

I for one do have multiple containers on most of my pages.
If it's not a straightforward topic, it can be useful to separate
several aspects of a subject and store each one in it's own container.

And very often I import snippets from a web-page and leave it in it's
own container whereas any additional remarks will have their own
container.

Apart from that: With "inking" on a TabletPC normally there will be
multiple containers on a page automatically.

A lot of my pages have many individual ideas that are independent. They are
1-5 lines of an idea for a new script, book, business ideas, web sites, etc.
Notes on characters, jokes, titles. I keep them in separate containers so
that I can move them around easily between pages. I also categorize them so
I can get a view of all the jokes, for example, even though they are on many
separate pages.

Just the same on my side.
