I tried to convert some notes I had created using "ink" into (ASCII or
whatever) text.
So I selected the ink. I found the option "Tools => Treat selected ink
as Handwriting" (without that step the next command is grayed out). Next
I selected "Tools => Convert Handwriting to Text".
But then in some cases either nothing happens or then the ink is shifted
all left and it is suddenly preceeded with some bullets (as I had indeed
tried to convert some text that was indented and also contained bulleted
lists) but the ink as such remains and is not convert.
I must be missing something here. I had meant to convert my "scribbles"
into "readable" text. How does this conversion work? Or is this not
possible? Can one only create "text" by directly converting it while
writing using the OS' input panel???
