Version: 2008

First of all I'm new to Mac.

When customizing my tool bar with commands I took off some of the menus, just leaving the Excel, File, and Help menus.
We do not know how to restore the other menus like Edit, View, Insert, Format, Tools, Data and Window,
Can some help me???

Restore them in the same place where you removed them :)

Go to the Toolbars page of the Customize Toolbars & Menus dialog, select the
name of the Worksheet Menu Bar then click the Reset button. This restores to
"factory defaults" so any customization will be reset as well.

For a more selective approach: In the Commands tab of the Customize dialog
scroll down in the Categories list & select Built-In Menus. Drag the ones
you need back onto the Menu Toolbar where you want them.

For the ultimate customization: Create your own Menu structure & add
whatever commands you wish to the Menus you create.

For more details see the Excel Help topic: Customize toolbars and menus

One way:

With XL closed, delete the

~:Library:preferences:Microsoft:Office 2008:Excel Toolbars (12)

file (where ~ is your home directory). Restart XL.

Picky, Picky, Picky :)

OK, Adrix, if you had any trouble with my suggestion just
Control/Right-Click the Standard Toolbar [which can't be removed] & select
the Customize... command from the contextual menu.

There, that wasn't so difficult, was it? :)
