illegal operation

when i try to save a word document in my documents i get a
message telling me an illegal operation has occured. so i
clicked on tell me more and this was the problem.

WINWORD caused an invalid page fault in
module KERNEL32.DLL at 0167:bff9db61.

Hi Allen,

Does the same error occur if you start Word using the /a switch? Go to
Start/Run and run:

winword /a

Note the space before the forward slash.
