Installing Office 2003 on new computer

I have an old Dell 8600 that came with a copy of Office 2003. I'd like to get
a new computer. Will the Office 2003 disk that the old computer came with
install on a new computer?

If it's a retail copy and not OEM, then yes.

OEM copy. When I ordered the computer, I had to pay extra for the computer to
come with the software. I'm not sure but believe it was the same cost as off
the shelf at office depot. Is this still considered an OEM copy?

If you open Word and do Help-About, the product ID at the bottom will tell
you. If it's OEM then the Product ID will contain "OEM".
If it IS an OEM, then no you can't transfer it to a new computer and be in
compliance with the EULA...
