When inserting a hyperlink, then testing in slideshow, I receive error
message: "No program is registered to open this file".
I tried using advice posted by Sonia to CamaJas on 1/27/2005 but I still
can't get hyperlink to work.
Please help. Got an important presnetation on 4/4/2005.
Note: The slides and hyperlinks used to work before but not any longer.

You forgot to tell us what type of file it is and what version of PowerPoint you
are using and how you are creating the hyperlink.

Oops! Sorry. The file is an MP3 file and I was trying to use Windows Media
Player to play it during the presentation. I didn't want to insert a sound
file as it works only for one particluar slide. I'd like to MP3 to play
throughout a number of slides.
For your info, it works when I use another player - e.g. roxio. The
PowerPoint is part of Office XP.
Thanks.
