When inserting a Hyperlink, No program is registered to open this

When inserting a Hyperlink, then testing it in the slideshow. I receive an
error box stating "No program is registered to open this file". I need to
know the fix for this. Is it a regsvr32 command that needs to be ran to
register a .dll?

It is being directed to an Intranet site at my company (wanting to stay
anonymous). It also does not work when pointing to an Internet site. It will
work with data files.

Then, based on the file extension, go to Windows Explorer, click on Tools >
Folder Options > File Types and check whether the extension is registered. If
not, you may be able to just add it to the list and tell it which program should
be used to open the file type.
