Odd discrepancy between Visio 2k on XP vs Win98SE

Creating simple *.gif files using Visio 2k. Some of these drawings
incorporate Greek letters (Symbol font) such as pi, rho, theta, etc.

Using Visio 2k on Win98SE everything is fine.

Using Visio 2k on Win XP Prof the Greek symbols don't appear.

Thus - same drawing; same version Visio; same (used) fonts installed on both
PCs. Only difference is WinXP not rendering the Greek characters. So I
draw the diagrams on the XP machine and transfer them via network to the
Win98SE machine to "Save As ..." *.gif files. This is nuts.

Any ideas?

Thanks John; one clarification - re-reading my previous reply I noticed that
I made a mistake. I'll repeat the sentence and CORRECT IT:

With Visio 2k on Win98SE, pi and all other symbols are correct.

So it's not Visio 2k per se, it is Visio 2k on Win XP.

Thanks again
