Onenote 2007 pen mode does not work

I have a tablet PC running Tablet PC Edition 2005 with Service pack 2, when I
installed Onenote 2007 the pen does not work.. it tells me that I need to be
running Tablet PC 2005 and SP2.. I am.. I read an article to re register
inkobj.dll and I did this .. still no luck. I have since reinstalled Onenote
2003 and the ink process works on this version but not the new one.. Can
someone please PLEASE help.

just one more piece of information, when I look at the properties of My
Computer is says theat Service Pack 2 is installed, but when I look at
Control Panel Add or Remove Programs, Windows XP Service Pack 2 does not show
up on the list of installed programs.. Does this help any?

Really need a cure ..

Well I found the solution.... I had to replace my hard drive and I installed
OneNote 2007 clean and it works. It must have been something to do with the
beta version I had installed a long time ago....

Anyhow it is not the machine it was the way the Beta 2007 Office uninstalled.

Done !
