Out of memory while printing

I have a project (size 40 MB) with about 4000 tasks, I am using an
autofilter and have as result 2000 tasks.

I want to print these 2000 tasks and: Out of memory-message from
Project

I am using project 2007 with Windows 2003 Server.

The laptop is dual-boot, doing the same with VISTA on the same laptop
I have no problems. But: my customer is using 2003 Server and can't
print.

I can't tell him to use Vista - I have to fix Project 2007 under
Windows 2003 server. But how?

(FAQ 18 has no use - it's for project < 2007)

Greetings

Hello Christian,

Try turning off the 3D display of the bars (Tools > Options, viewtab.)
Although FAQ #18 does not specifically mention Project 2007, it still
applies. Make sure your customers are running the latest and correct printer
driver installed.

I would also check with your customer and make sure s/he is running SP-1 for
Project 2007.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Turning off the 3D-display of the bars was the right tip. I am sure,
the memory-problem will come up again, but this a first step.

Thanks a lot

You're welcome Christian. Glad to have helped and thanks for the feedback
that turning off the 3D display helped.
