Hi Diane,

Thank you for you reply. Yes, the box "Send Email immediately when
connected" box was unchecked. After check it, it works now.

Thanks a lot!

I have Outlook 2007 with Vista Home Premium and have difficulty sending large
files (over 10 MB). They do not upload to the email, get hung up in the
outbox and send repeated messages to the recepients. Any suggestions?

Hi Dave,

Do you know how much the attachment size limitation is? We have 10MB. If it
exceed this size, the mail server won't send the email. But you should
receive a error massage.

I understand there is no file size limit in Outlook. My ISP has a limit of
30 MB so the files I am sending are below that. It seems to be intermittent
and sometimes smaller files do not load to the email and hang in the outbox.
Thanks,

Dave

The most frequent cause of this is scanning your email with an antivirus
scanner. Scanning email, especially outgoing mail, is unnecessary. Uninstall
your AV program and reinstall it without any mail scanning. Test again.

My problem is different. Most forwards and replies work just fine. Others
just sit in the Outbox without any apparent reason. I have Outlook 2007 and
2003 on different computes and i noticed this problem about 2 months ago.
First only on 2007 then on 2003 too. At first only a few emails i could not
reply to then recently it has been increasing.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

When those messages sit in the Outbox, are they in italics? Do thet have a
Sent date?
