Project 2003 changes task duration from XML

Hi all,

I have a curious problem with Project 2003 importing XML created by my application or even by itself.

Some tasks have 0 resource assignment and duration set to some elapsed hours.

When I import the file on Project these durations are changed to the baseline duration 0.

It doesn't happen with tasks with 1 or more resource assignments and if I change the duration unit from elapsed hours to just hours, for example.

Any help on how to avoid this behaviour? Is this a bug from Project 2003? I use the SP3 version.

I'd appreciate any help from you guys.
