I trialed office 2007 and found that i did not need this as I had office 2003
and this was adequate for my needs. I uninstalled Office 2007 but it has
wiped out my office 2003 and now I cannot reinstall it. I do not have the
original cd that microsoct is saying i need to insert as i purchased the
computer through a friend with all the systems already installed. How can I
get back my office 2003.

I guess that also means you have no recovery cd's or any other means of
reinstalling Win, if it all goes wrong

When someone sells you a computer with the operating system and programs
already installed, they are also required to provide you with any and all
documentation and installation media that was used to install the operating
system and programs. Contact your friend and demand the installation media
or your money back.

Your "friend" was less than ethical when they sold you the machine with no
Office disks. I suggest you ask your "friend" where they are and could you
please have them?
