Reporting DB

I am writing ad hoc reports via ODBC to reporting database. to supplement
reporting via Project or PWA..I am trying to analyze baselines used in the
entire instance and monitor compliance to baseline rules and frequency and
timing of baselines to be used.

I found some baseline tables available, but do not tell much info...where
does PS keep the baselines used and dates in which the last time baseline was
updated...is that information only locally stored in the Project file, or is
it stored in the reporting database to retrieval, reporting and Data quality
analysis? Thanks for you assistance. TomB

Tom, if you go to the technet site and download the Project Server SDK you
will also find a report db schema for proejct server. This will give you all
the info you require.
Hope this helps

Unfortunately, the baseline timestamp does not exist in the reporting
database.

In the past, my colleague and I wrote some VBA macros on the client that
captured full and partial baseline events with timestamps and user IDs and
committed those to a custom database table on the project save event.

This allowed us to report on and monitor baselining activities and we had
the system also send email alerts when baselines were taken including which
baseline number, whether it was a full or partial baseline and who took the
baseline.
