RunTime Error '800a01fb' in PWA

Hi

We are running Project Server 2003, SP2, as of midday today all
systems that tried to access Project Web Access now get this error

"Microsoft JScript runtime error '800a01fb'
An exception occurred
/ProjectServer/Library/LocalizedStrings.asp, line 78"

Has anyone encounted this before.

Any Help appreciated.

Hi Suzane
Do your systems have antivirus running scanning the global.asa file.
The error which you mentioned is sometimes received due to antivirus.

Dear Suzanne,
this error might be caused by a corrupted MDAC. Update MDAC and this will
resolve.

Hi Manmeet,
While qurerying the SQL database it creates an ADODB connection and when
this MDAC gets courrpt user will get this error need to recreate the
connection. Some time restarting the IIS server and Sql service might
resolve this issue.

Howe ever if MDAC connection is recreated issue will resolve.
