Hi,

I am working in MS Project 2003 with Project Server 2003, I have a tw
seprate project, exmple Project1 & Project2 and I assigned a task i
Project1 to Resource1 and if I also assigned another task in Project
for same Resource1, then what will be the impact of Project1?
another thing is that suppose if i have two seprate project1 & project
and same above i assigned a task in project1 to Resource1 but not 100
this will work in Project1 70% and remaining 30% i assigned in anothe
project2, when tracking time suppose project1 goes to delay and exten
due to some reason then client wants the second project should b
automatically extend based on first project1. my question is it coul
be happend in automatically??
Is it possible if yes then how??
plz. help me..any idea greatfull for me.

Thanks,
Muku

Hi,

Question 1.
None, unless you do Resource Leveling. Read the help on that.
Question 2.
Two different projects but the second one should extend with the first one?
Projects extend when their tasks extend.
You can link tasks from different projects.
From PWA, open both project simultaneaously. In the upcoming master project
link the tasks that have to be linked.
Save project 1 and 2 BUT NOT THE MASTER FILE.

Hope this helps,
