Sent folder not retrieving my hotmail

Every time I try to retrieve the sent folder, it shows there are 780
messages (that have added up), but then this box pops up:

Error:
HTTP error. The server is temporarily unable to fulfill the request.

Explanation:
Could not retrieve mail.

Account name: "hotmail"

Error: -18497

PLEASE, I need to be able to use this sent folder. Anybody knows what
the problem is and what to do??
