My computer suddenly shows a blue screen. I can read this error on the
screen and some advices like: check vor viruses, remove newly hard drives
and controllers, run CHKDSK /F.
I restart the computer, it boots and after that it shows the same blue
screen and messages. After pressing F8, I can not run windows in safe
mode, debugging mode, last known good configuration.
It could be a boot virus? Or maybe something goes wrong.
I run Windows 2000 Profesional, service pack 4. So, I think my computer
is
(better said "was":) ) up-to-date. And Kaspersky anti-virus too!
What can I do? I don't want to loose my installed programs and data?
Thank you verry much!
Robert

I'd suggest asking this in a newsgroup related to Windows 2000.

This newsgroup is for questions about Access, the database product that's
part of Office Professional.

I had this recently, but I can't offer you much hope: my hard disk was dead,
and I had to fit a new one.
