Using Office 2003 and VISTA 64, Insert Symbol does not work.

Using Office 2003 and VISTA 64, when I select Insert > Symbol I can click
on Insert > Symbol, and CAN see the symbols, but I CAN NOT select one a
Symbol.

I was told it COULD BE because I have enabled the x-mouse feature in TweakUI
and this could be interfering with the Insert | Symbol function.

If this is true can you help me get out of this mess. I promise I do not
even know where to find the Tweak UI function. I looked on the web and it
seems to be an Win XP thing. Or is there any thing else I can do?
