When I try to delete the e-mail in the Deleted Items
folder I get the message "The messaging interface has
returned an unknown error. If the problem persists
restart outlook". If I try to delete the a message in
the inbox, I get the error,"Errors have been detected in
the file C:\Documents and Settings\...\Outlook.pst. Quit
all mail enabled applications and then use the inbox
Repair Tool". I have closed out to Outlook and run the
repair tool (Scanpst.exe). The first time I run it, it
finds errors and says that they are repaired. However
the problem persists. If I try to run it again then it
doesn't find any errors. If I reboot the computer, it
finds errors again, repairs them and the problem
persists, etc., etc., etc...
The PST file is about 27mb.
I say a reference to the same type of problem with
Outlook 2000 with Service Pack 1. but didn't want to
apply the fix until I verified that 2002 has the same
problem.
Thanks,
Bernie
