2002 memory error message

After installing XP now when I attempt to open Publisher
2002 I get the message: The instruction at "0x77f585c0"
referenced memory at "0x000000000". The memory could not
be "written." I tried reinstalling Publisher with no
luck. It will allow me to open in safe mode but I want it
right. Any help would be appreciated.
