2003 CPU Usage

Outlook 2003 - XP Pro -1 GIG Processor -750m RAM - Dial up Internet
Computer becomes slow and on looking at Task Manager i see that Outlook.exe
is using about 96% CPU time and it just stays there. Outlook will shut down
and on restarting Outlook behaves normally.
OE open in another window.
MSDN Viewer in another Window
Excel open
VFP8 open
6 or 7 copies of iexplore open
I have not been able to establish repeatable circumstances yet - any one
here run into this before.

Try minimizing Outlook when you're not actively using it.
