I created a new template. When I saved it, somehow it replace the blank or
normal template. Now when i load Word or select a new document for printing
labels my new template comes up. How can i get a plain old blank document
back??

Make a copy of the one you now have and hide it away, then close word
and delete it. When reopening Word it should go find it's backup copy and
copy it to the expected location. Note: it has been a while since I had to
mess with this and I am doing it from memory and I can't recall the default
locations for these files.

Exit Word, locate your Normal template (Normal.dotm) and rename (or delete)
it. Word will create a new one using the defaults upon starting. To locate
Normal.dotm, copy/paste the following in an Address bar in the Windows
Explorer:

%AppData%\Microsoft\Templates

Instead of copying it you need to rename it/move it/delete it. Then when
Word is unable to find the Normal template it will create a new one using
its default settings. :)

Also, in this situation it doesn't use a backup file, as it does for other
features, it uses internal settings to create the new Normal template.
