2007 powerpoint problem / bug?

trish

I have a 2003 file which has an action button that can be clicked only once.
This has been done by having a transparent shape appear (triggered) and cover
the button once it has been clicked.

In 2007 this does not seem to work even though the transparent shape hasnt
appeared at the start it seems to still be invisibly covering the button so
that it can never be clicked.

Anyone else reproduce this?

Hi Trish,

can you describe a bit more in detail, what the action button should do when
clicked?

Best regards,
Ute

Thanks for helping

The action button (actually it is just a shape) when clicked triggers a
"that's right" routine - there are also "wrong" buttons. All of these work
perfectly. Each button also triggers an animation (appear) for a transparent
(99%) shape which covers all the buttons and prevents a "second go" click. In
2002 and 2003 this works great but in todays 2007 the buttons wont click
because the transparent shape is masking them. Delete the shape it works.
Make the shape 50% transparent and it doesnt show but still seems to block
the buttons.

Hope thats clear

Hello Trish,

If you post a sample slide (smallest possible so that the slow connection
newgroup readers don't flame us) I'll take a look at it.
