2007 Resourceplan

I am creating a resourceplan for non-generic resource starting 1/1/2008 and
ending 31/12/2008 in a project with the same start and end-dates. The
resource in my resourceplan is available entire 2008.

I create a resourceplan by entering hours per year and publishing it, based
on resourceplanning. When looking at the resourceplan on a weekly basis I can
see that the yearly hours are spread by week, but starting at the day of
entry (28/1/2008) instead of 1/1/2008.

I know the workaround is entering the hours per week or month for the period
1/1/08 tot 28/1/08, but does anyone know if there is another option or patch
that will resolve this issue?

I have not found any way to fix the strange behaviour. I think this feature
still has a ways to go as far as maturity.
