24 hour calendar

Resource Pool -
I'm trying to create an equipment resource and assign it to the 24 hour base
calendar. However, when I choose the Base calendar in the Working Time tab,
all I see is the Standard calendar. I thought that Project comes with 3 types
of base calendars: Standard, shift work and 24X7.
I assigned a task to the 24 hour base calendar with no problem, so I'm a
little confuse as to why it doesn't work for a resource. Hopefully some one
could help

Sounds like you are using Project Server. The Enterprise Global only
has one calendar in it: Standard. The administrator of your project
server needs to open the Enterprise Global and add a 24 hour base
calendar. Then you will be able to use it for your resource. You will
need to wait till after he saves these changes and then you will need
to close Project and reopen it to get the new Ent. Global.

Brian,

Yes we are using the Enterprise version. As we share the administrator role,
we are not clear as to the steps required to add the 24 hour calendar in the
Global. We assume that it is done in the Organizer, but we do not have the
option in the Calendar tab to add the 24 hour calendar. All we see in this
tab is the Standard calendar. Could you list the steps to take to add the 24
hour calendar?
