2nd load of Office 2003: Student and Teacher Edition

My computer was on the fritz so I re-formatted everything and went back to
factory default. When I tried re-installing Office, which I paid a good
chunk of money for, the CD was now blank. Is there a reason for this?

Yeah, I feel like an ass... I think my CD drive is slowly going out on me...
I got it to work by ejecting the CD and then closing it again. It decided it
wanted to work at that point.

If the drive is inconsistent about reading "pressed" CD's, you could try
blowing the dust out of it. Otherwise, replacing it is not really too
expensive.
