I couldn't find a sollution for this one on KB so I'll
try a news group. We're running Ad and file servers are
w2k as well. When a word or excel file is opened from a
network share using Office2000SR1 (any or no service
pack) it someimes takes a long time to open. The bigger
problem is when you try to close this document and get
out of word/excel it takes up to a minute to close and if
you try to close it again befor it closes it says that
the program is not responding. There is no pattern here
as it happens randomly with different files/times
computers (winxp or win2000).
Any help is appreciated.
