"500 Command not recognized" in larger mailings???

When I use my distribution list (175 contacts) I get the above message and
the e-mails are not sent. What can I do? Thanks. Glenn

Have you checked with your ISP if their mail server will allow you to send
to 175 recipients per item?

I'm in the process of checking that now. It may be that the anti-spaming
crusade has a downside. Does nayone know how to get around a large mailing
limitation if that in fact is the problem. Why wouldn't the error be more
specific re. too many messages if that was the case? Thanks. Glenn

Certainly it's a large distribution list. Maybe you should consider to
install an SMTP application to handle such distributions lists.
