One thing you can do is convert it to 2000, clear out the
records and then convert it back to 97. Both Access 2000
and 2002 should allow those conversions. The only concern
would be if you had Visual Basic programming done in 97.
It may try to make it more 2000 friendly, which could
cause an issue when you convert it back. As with
anything, make a backup copy first.
