a contact attatches itself to every new email

Every time I open a new email to type there a contact (the same one) appears
as an attachment. I have deleted the contacxt from my address book but it
still appears everytime

What Outlook version?
List your steps more clearly.

Check your signature settings in Tools | OPtions | Mail Format. It sounds like you have your signature set up to include a vCard .vcf file.
