A gray grid

Loz

When I open Word 2000 documents from some staff I get a
gray grid that doesnt print but shows on each page -
anyone know why and how I get rid of it.

Thanks

The grid is probably the drawing grid - from the drawing toolbar > draw >
grid > uncheck display grid

The gray grid may be the outlines of a table. Select the
Tables menu. If Hide Gridlines is available (assuming a
table is embedded in the document) click on it to remove
the gridlines.
