a little help needed, thanks

Could you help, I am trying to print up some id cards for a
convention. I just did it the Hard Way, and all along I was
thinking,,, "there has to be a easier way, but I just don't know it".
Is there some place/file where I have failed to look????This is not
one of those life saving situations, but sure would
appreciate some info. thanks in advance. cl. 73

Mail merge is the easy way:

1. Create a data source, if you don't have one already. An Excel spreadsheet
or Word table is easy (with separate columns for each piece of information
you need to show on the cards), or if you've set up a database of convention
participants you can use that.

2. In Word, go to Tools > MailMerge and follow the instructions.
