A NEW COLOR QUESTION

B

Blue Leader

I've searched for & reviewed lots of posts on colors (folders, flags, labels,
etc.), but haven't seen this question asked. I run Outlook 2003, and after a
recent reinstall and repair of my Outlook (I had a problem with a message
stuck in my Outbox that kept resending and wouldn't delete), the following
text, numbers and symbols all appear in LIME GREEN: (i) The parenthetical
"Total Number" of items -- wherever that option is chosen for any of my
personal folders (the option of "Total Unread" where chosen continues to
display in blue), and (ii) Every check mark and filled in bullet or dot or
whatnot for every option or customization feature in Outlook. There might be
more, but if there are, I haven’t come across them yet. Now, that neon-ish
Lime Green certainly is a lovely color, but I just can’t see it, and where I
can catch a glimpse of something green-ish, it's impossible to make out what
it is. While I couldn't tell you what color these actually were before my
re-install, I'm fairly confident it wasn't Lime Green because I distinctly
recall being able to see the numbers and symbols without a problem a few days
ago.

Is there any way to change the Lime Green to another color so as to allow me
to actually see the total number of items in a folder and to see what options
and other customization features I have selected without going blind in the
process? If there's nothing I can do directly about this color issue in
Outlook, are there other computer color settings you might recommend me
changing to get the Lime Green to show up a little better/darker/blacker?

Any and all help, ideas, suggestions would be greatly appreciated and most
certainly welcome before that florescent lime color etches and indelible
after-image into my corneas.

Thank you.
