A new contact the address does not appear on right panel

When I complete a new contact, the address does not appear on the right
panel. It does for some - but it seems quite random and it makes no
difference if I use business or home or tick the box. It is a problem because
when I create folders it is missing there too.

State your version of Outlook, state what window you have open and what view
you're using, and exactly what you click to produce what you see,.

I am using Outlook 2007. New contact details under the general tab. Neither
home address is appearing on what I think is called the business card when I
input the details successfully under addresses.
