Recently, some guy posted a response to a question I posted. The response
had nothing to do with my question... Soe resposted after him saying
"...Ignore Him..." and someone else just attacked the guy. As many of you
are aware, this guy who posted a response was Aaron Kempf.

I feel bad for thie idiot, I really do. What a life, posting all sorts of
useless hateful things on a Microsoft Forum of all places. Wow.

Anyway, I did some research on the guy and his public records and this guy
is truly a tool. It would be nice if he would forever vanish from these
forums, as we are trying to gain knowledge and wisdom in out own projects.

Anyway, I just wanted to put that out there for any new people to this site.
You should just ignore Aaron Kempf and his non-sense posts.

And by the way, thank you all for helping me become better with Access.

It gets worse, don't even attempt to correct him or put him in his
place. I made the mistake of responding to him a few times, now the
guy emails me all the time, tries to add me on Facebook and Myspace,
all so he can further badger me into ADP and SQL server. Ignore this
man at all costs!

Yowzer. I had no idea Aaron was getting so bad. Aren't there links in Facebook
and MySpace to file a complaint about spammers or such?

My campaign to intentionally poke him with a stick and then
challenge him to stop responding seems to have worked.

On the other hand, he does tend to come and go, so maybe he is just
in one of his periodic silent periods.

I will admit to taking him on from time to time, but mostly I respond to
refute his misinformation. If he makes an irrelevant response to a
question, but the OP is following other parts of the thread and not
responding to Aaron, I tend to ignore him. He hates to be ignored, so
ignoring him is usually the best strategy unless he is leading somebody
astray or posting falsehoods. Now I need to remember to take my own advice
about ignoring him.

HTH.

Otherwise, go right ahead and report me to the authorities for this
"threat." You'll just be adding to the already large number of
people who will be laughing at you behind your back.

I would not consider what you said as a metaphor.

The poking with a stick is a reference to a scenario where you find
something and it is stinking up the place and rather than touch it with your
hands, you want to poke it with a stick to see if it is alive. Aaron is
stinking up the place and it appears that he is brain dead. So it is not a
figurative reference, but an actual need to find out if he has actually
expired.

But I'm not literally poking him with a stick, nor even suggesting I
intend him with any physical harm. It really *is* a metaphor, and
Aaron is trying to lay the groundwork for a bogus argument that I'm
harassing him or threatening him or whatever. No law enforcement
officials will give him any credence, but I doubt he'd ever actually
follow through with contacting any authorities. Aaron lives in a
fantasy world and so writing about it is sufficient to his needs.

I agree that it is a metaphor in that David clearly does not intend to
locate Aaron and poke him. You said it yourself: it is a reference to a
scenario. By extension, it is not the scenario itself.
But then, perhaps you are engaging in hyperbole.

**** you Tony.

I'll talk about you and all your **** friends whenever and wherever I
want.

Oh NO!!!! Did I spoil your virgin ears?
Maybe you should take your general premise-- that you'll do anything
to prevent people from swearing on the internet-- and shove it up your
fucking ass you fucking faggot.
