about tasks showed in nonworking time

the scheduler told me that he wants that the task do not be showed in the
nonworking time in Gantt view. Can I accomplish this in project 2003?

He said sometimes he just devided one task to two tasks to accomplish this.

For example: he assigned a task, duration is 1 hour. Working time is 8:00am
to 12:00 pm, 1:00pm to 5:00pm. if the task is started at 4:30pm today, it is
showed from 4:30pm today to 8:30 am tomorrow in Gantt View. The task showed
in nonworking time too(from 5:00 pm today to 8:00am tomorrow).
Could you please tell me if I can let it not to show in the nonworking time?

Thank you very much!

Try Format/Timescale /Non-working time tab and select to draw (non-working

Thank you! that works in project 2003.

But when the scheduler published the task, the resource(person) received the
task in his outlook 2003 calendar. In outlook 2003 calendar, the task still
showed from 4:30pm today to 8:30am tomorrow. Can I make it showed correctly
in the Resource's outlook Calendar?

Thank you very much!
