Access 2003 objects

I have created an mdb of coupon book information and I have created a catalog
merge of the data fields with Publisher.

One of the fields is a Company Logo (object field) and I have not worked
with objects in an Access mdb.

Is there a preferred type to use ? .bmp .jpg etc.

Is there a way to get the logo image to display as a graphic in the record -
right now when I come to a record with a logo the logo box just shows text
bitmap image.

Whereas in an outlook contact file you can insert a picture of someone and
the picture shows along with the text info.

Any other tips for working with pictures?
