Access 2003 problem

I have just installed office 2003 pro to my computer and when i try and use
access to convert a database to access 97 i get the error couldn't find
installable ISAM.
This also happend when i tried to link an access 97 database into my vb
front end program.
Is it an office install error as i chose full install when i installed
office and then activated the program and all works ok just this error.
Any ideas.

I'd just reccomend using a real tool like SQL Server and DTS
