Access 2007 Crosstab Queries very slow to save

We recently upgraded to Office 2007, and since doing so have found our
crosstab queries to take a very long time to save. They run just as quickly
as ever, but take many minutes to save. What might be causing this to
happen? Is there anything we can do about it?

If there is any information that may help diagnosis easier, please let me
know and I will share.

This is an old question so it has probably been solved or a work around created by now. However for others who might encounter the same problem here's what I've found.

The only thing that seems to resolve the slow save (which sometimes amounts to freezing of the Access 2007 Session) is to NOT flip back and forth between Edit and Open/Run of the query. In other words edit and save (or close) the query, then run the query. After running it, close the query and then edit if necessary.

There were other postings that said to change Subdatasheet Name to None, however this didn't seem to help.
